Ormond Beach, FL (July 17, 2018) – The Ormond Beach Police were called to the scene of an incident after a man was struck by a vehicle. The road rage incident took place on Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place between the driver of a gray BMW and two men outside the vehicle. It happened around the area of Nova Road before it spilled over into the parking lot of a gas station.
A video recorded at the scene showed the two men approaching the BMW and trying to yank the driver out of it. The driver, however, put his car in reverse and struck one of them. The BMW drove over the man’s foot. The second man was then launched on the hood of the car and onto the ground about 10 feet from the incident.
The BMW then left the scene at a high rate of speed. One of the men claimed that the man in the BMW was throwing things at them off of camera, which is why they went after him.
Now, police are looking for the driver of the BMW to find out what happened.
