Osceola County, FL (July 22, 2021) - A 10-year-old girl was killed in a pedestrian accident in Osceola County on Wednesday, July 21st. The accident happened around 9:15 pm. on U..S Highway 192 at Avalon Road.
Troopers say that a girl was crossing the roadway when she was hit by a vehicle driven by a 71-year-old woman. The girl was trying to cross the street with several other children when the accident happened. She was rushed to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The girl has not been identified at this time. Police have not said whether any charges are expected.
