Florida is a dangerous place for pedestrians. Our state averages about two fatal pedestrian accidents each day. In addition, there are many more who are seriously hurt when they are struck by vehicles. By its nature, a pedestrian crash often produces major injuries and the possibility of long-term and costly medical treatment.
