The construction industry is an especially dangerous field in which to work. In 2016, construction workers suffered the highest fatality rate among all industries in our state with a total of 76 reported deaths. In addition to fatal accidents, there were many more reported injuries which were serious but not ultimately fatal.
Construction and other trade industries are heavily regulated by safety codes. In some instances, an employer or project owner may fail to adhere to certain regulations which, in turn, creates a dangerous occupational hazard for workers. An experienced construction accident attorney can help if you have suffered a serious on the job injury.
