Pinellas County, FL (March 1, 2019) - A car crashed into a home on Wild Acres Road, near 126th Avenue, on Friday, March 1st, around 5:00 a.m., resulting in injuries to two of the occupants inside the vehicle.
A police investigation showed that the car ran off the road, traveled through some shrubs, and then crashed into the house, ending up on its side. The homeowner, George Howe, was awake and eating breakfast when heard a loud crash and saw the vehicle inside his spare bedroom. Howe said he has seen five similar crashes in the area around his home and believes that something needs to be done to alert drivers in the area. He said he has witnessed at least one other crash where a car went through his next-door neighbor' house.
The two injured victims were transported to a local hospital. There is no word at this time on how the crash took place and no further details were released.
