Pinellas County, FL (July 28, 2019) - Two people were seriously hurt when a boat crashed into a seawall in Pinellas County on Saturday, July 27th. The crash happened around 6:00 p.m. near 7910 Sun Islands Drive in Pasadena.
Deputies with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office say that five people were aboard the boat when the crash took place. Two of the passengers were seriously injured in the crash and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. There is no further word on their conditions at this time. Police have not identified either of the victims or said why the collision took place.
An investigation is ongoing.
