Punta Gorda, FL (July 23, 2019) - Police were on the scene of an injury crash in Punta Gorda on Tuesday, July 23rd. The accident took place around 9:30 p.m. on Bermont Road, near Grovewood Circle.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to reports of the crash. When troopers arrived, they found at least one person suffering from injuries sustained in the accident. There is no word on what caused the collision to occur and no information on the nature or extent of the injuries. Officers set up a roadblock for both lanes of Bermont Road and drivers were asked to avoid the area.
