Many accidents happen on our roadways every year. At first glance, some people don’t find out about them until many hours later due to them being unseen. This was the case in one accident where responders weren’t able to help until it was too late for one.
In Sarasota this past week on Interstate 75, a man was killed and a woman was seriously injured. Unfortunately, deputies did not find them until 2 hours after the accident occurred. The accident happened when the man lost control of the vehicle and ran off the roadway, overturning within a line of trees. The crash took place around 3:11 a.m. originally, but nobody could find them because they were so far off the highway in the bushes.
The man who lost his life was identified as 21-year-old Rodney Farr Jr., who was ejected from his vehicle. His passenger was identified as a 26-year-old woman. She was pronounced in critical condition at the hospital.
