Two people were left with serious injuries in a scooter accident in Oakland Park early this morning. The accident took place along Commercial Boulevard.
A spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office said that the crash took place after midnight. The victims were riding on the scooter when a driver struck them. After the accident, the driver remained at the scene and they were taken to Broward Health Medical Center. Their conditions since then have not been disclosed.
The crash was serious and shut down part of the road for several hours.
