Seminole, FL (July 29, 2018) – Two people lost their lives in a four-car Seminole accident that took place last night. The incident took place on Park Boulevard near 104th Lane around 7 p.m. when a rear-end incident occurred.
60-year-old James Wolf was headed west on the roadway in his SUV when he failed to stop at a red light in the area. This caused his vehicle to come into contact with the back of a Lexus. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said that the impact was so forceful that it pushed the Lexus into the eastbound lanes of the roadway, which made it strike a van. Wolf’s SUV hit another SUV that was headed east at the time.
49-year-old Edward Delzer and his father, 86-year-old Harvey Delzer, were pronounced dead at the scene. Wolf was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
Five people between the other two vehicles did not sustain injuries. Speed and alcohol were both factors in the accident. Now, criminal charges are pending.
