There were seventeen vehicles involved in a State Road 520 crash that happened this morning in Orlando. The accident took place during low-visibility conditions around 6 a.m. Florida Highway Patrol Lieutenant Kim Montes said that two people were taken to the hospital with injuries, but they are expected to be okay.
The roadway was closed in both directions this morning after the accident. Investigators believe that either smoke, fog, or a combination led to the crash. The crash has been handed off to FHP to make these determinations.
