Spring Hill, FL (September 20, 2018) - A woman and her granddaughter sustained critical injuries in a Spring Hill motorcycle crash on Thursday, September 20th.
The motorcycle driver, identified as 55-year-old Brenda Davis, was initially parked on Malcolm Avenue while waiting for her granddaughter to get off a school bus. Once off the bus, the child got on the motorcycle with Davis. As the motorcycle pulled away, Davis attempted a left turn onto Kimberly Avenue. The motorcycle, however, failed to navigate the curve and traveled off the road, striking a home.
Davis and her granddaughter sustained major injuries in the accident and both are in critical condition. Davis is receiving treatment at Bayonet Point while her granddaughter is at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
Florida Highway Patrol reports that charges are pending against Davis for her role in the crash.
