St. Cloud, FL (March 16, 2019) - A multi-vehicle crash stemming from a domestic dispute has left one person dead and several others injured. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15th.
According to St. Cloud Police Sgt. Frankie De La Rosa, 34-year-old Andric Levoi Barksdale and his girlfriend were involved in an argument. Barksdale was traveling in one vehicle while his girlfriend was in another. Investigators believe that Barksdale intentionally collided with his girlfriend's vehicle, setting off a chain of events which caused her vehicle to cross into the oncoming travel lane and collide with three other vehicles.
A woman in one of the three vehicles was killed at the scene of the crash. Both Barksdale and his girlfriend were taken to a hospital with injuries sustained in the accident. There is no word on the condition of any of the injured victims at this time.
Police have charged Barksdale with vehicular manslaughter.
Our deepest condolences are extended to the family of the woman who was tragically killed in this crash.
