Hit-and-run crashes are, unfortunately, quite common in Florida. These crashes account for about 25% of all reported Florida car accidents. Last year alone, there were 105,000 reported hit-and-run accidents that took place throughout our state. When a hit-and-run crash occurs, the police will make every effort to locate the responsible driver. These drivers have often caused the crash to occur due to their negligent actions and they can be held responsible.
Our thoughts are with the injured victim and her family in this St. Petersburg hit-and-run accident.
