We are glad to hear that this accident did not result in any life-threatening injuries. Over 250,000 injury accidents take place each year in our state. Several of these accidents will involve school buses and children. Child safety is a top priority on the roadways and should always be taken seriously by those who are traveling in areas where children are present.
In this crash, it appears as though the driver did not take every precaution possible to avoid hitting the five-year-old boy and may face civil liability as a result.
