Our thoughts and condolences are with the injured pedestrian in this case. Last year in Florida, approximately 10,000 pedestrians were hurt in crashes involving vehicles. By their nature, pedestrian accidents tend to involve severe and catastrophic injuries. Where a driver is negligent and their negligence leads to injuries, a pedestrian has a legal right to recover compensation.
