Tamarac, FL (May 28, 2020) - Two people were killed and two others were injured in a rollover crash that took place in Tamarac. The crash happened on Thursday, May 28th around 4:30 a.m.
Officials responded to the intersection of Rock Island Road and Commercial Boulevard near the Florida's Turnpike shortly after the accident occurred. According to reports, a silver Corolla and a gray pickup truck collided with one another. The Corolla rollover following the crash. Two of the four Corolla occupants died as a result of the accident. Two more were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. There is no word on whether anyone in the pickup sustained injuries in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing at this time. No further details have been released.

Florida rollover crashes commonly result in very serious injuries and even death for their victims. Those who are involved in these accidents can face danger not only from the original crash but also the rollover itself. Occupants of a vehicle can be thrown from the car as it flips, thus increasing the potential for serious injuries to occur.

Two people died in a crash in Belle Glade on Monday, December 9th. The crash took place on Hatton Highway near the intersection with State Road 80. Police and fire crews arrived on the scene around 3:30 p.m. The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue discovered a sedan that was engulfed in flames. The sedan collided with a dump truck. Rescue workers were able to remove two people from the sedan. The victims were later pronounced dead. Their identity has not been released at this time.
