Tampa, FL (July 16, 2021) - Police in Tampa responded to the scene of a deadly car accident on Friday, July 16th. The crash happened on Bearss Avenue at the intersection with Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.
Officials responded to the scene just after the accident happened. When first responders arrived they pronounced one person dead at the crash site. Police have not released any details on the cause of the accident or the events that led up to it. The deceased victim was not immediately identified. The road was closed at the intersection while officers conducted an investigation.
No further details have been released.

Three people were taken to the hospital following a crash in Crystal River on Thursday, June 4th. The crash took place at the intersection of US 19 and Turkey Oak Drive. The Citrus County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash scene. Deputies report that a black Ford F-150 was traveling northbound on US 19 and was about to turn left onto Northwest 19th Street. A Buick four-door vehicle was traveling southbound. The Buick proceeded into the intersection and collided head-on with the passenger's side of the truck. Both occupants of the Ford and the driver of the Buick were hospitalized with unspecified injuries following the crash. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time. Read more
