A tire blowout incident caused a driver to lose control and a vehicle flew across lanes of traffic.
The accident happened on I-10 when 26-year-old Keandra Winley’s tire blew out, causing her vehicle to lose control and slide across three lanes of busy traffic. The vehicle ended up striking a guardrail and overturning. It then came to a rest on its roof.
Winley and her five children sustained injuries. The children ranged from ages 1-10. Winley suffered minor injuries while a 4-year-old and 6-year-old were seriously injured. They were all taken to the hospital.
