Yesterday, a truck fire got out of hand on the turnpike, closing certain lanes. The truck caught fire on Florida’s Turnpike and blocked all northbound lanes south of Sunrise Boulevard.
The driver was out of the vehicle when it started to burst into flames. The driver sustained some injuries and was transported to the hospital by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Department of Fire Rescue.
This is currently a developing story and we are missing information but will report back when if we know how the fire occurred.
