Lanes have finally reopened after a serious two-car accident that happened in Tallahassee, causing serious damages to the vehicles involved.
Officials were called to the scene of the two-car Tallahassee crash that took place at an intersection. The Tallahassee Police Department was called to the scene at 7:00 a.m. this morning, which occurred at the intersection of South Monroe and East Gaines Streets.
Authorities have confirmed that there were two vehicles involved in the crash and that there are injuries, but we are unsure of the extent at this time. The two vehicles involved have been identified as pickup trucks, one white and one black. There were serious damages to the front-end of the white pickup truck.
Southbound lanes of South Monroe Street were closed for an hour while the scene was cleared, and drivers were urged to use caution in the area or seek an alternative route.
In just 2007 alone, over 360,000 people were involved in Florida car accidents. About 200,000 of these came with injuries and a small percentage was fatal. It helps to be prepared for any accident involving vehicles.
