Vero Beach, FL (June 4, 2019) - A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries following a crash on Monday, June 3rd. The crash happened in the 1500 block of US-1, around 5:00 p.m.
Police and rescue crews responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist unresponsive. He was airlifted to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute in critical condition. There were no other injuries reported in the crash. The northbound lanes of US-1 remained closed while authorities worked at the scene. There is no word on how the crash occurred.
The accident is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol and no further details are available at this time.

A woman is dead after her car was struck by a Brightline train at a crossing near Pompano Beach. The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17th. Police and rescue workers responded to the crash in the 600 block of North Dixie Highway. According to reports, the woman was driving a white Acura. The train collided with the passenger side of the vehicle at the crossing. The woman died of her injuries. She has not been identified at this time. Read more
