Volusia County, FL (July 11, 2019) - A 43-year-old woman from DeBary is dead after a two-car crash that was reported on Wednesday, July 10th. The crash happened on West Highbanks Road, near the intersection with South Shell Road.
According to reports, Catherine Clark was driving a Lexus on West Highbanks when she attempted to make a turn onto South Shell. As she turned, however, she collided with a Ford truck. The collision caused Clark to suffer serious injuries and she was later pronounced dead at the crash scene. The driver of the truck was not hurt in the collision and has not been identified at this time. There is no word at this time on whether any charges are expected from the crash.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

Initial reports indicate that the woman, identified as Gloria Kaminski was traveling on 125th Street North, near Park Boulevard when the crash occurred. Kaminski attempted to turn left onto Park Boulevard when her 2005 Chevrolet was struck by 2016 Ford van traveling westbound on Park. The driver of the van is identified as 46 year old Robert Hak. One person lost their life in a tragic crash that took place in Orlando on Friday afternoon. The accident was reported around 4:30 p.m. near Camping World Stadium at the intersection of Rio Grande Avenue and South Street. Police report that the accident involved two cars. One of the vehicles in the crash overturned, ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The victim died at the crash scene. It is not clear whether the other driver was hurt in the accident. At this time, there are no details on how the collision took place. Due to delays at the scene, motorists were advised to seek alternate routes of travel.
