Our sympathies go out to all of those affected by the death of Deputy Frank Scofield. We are very saddened to hear about this tragic crash that claimed his life. Unfortunately, many innocent victims are killed in crashes on Florida's streets and highways every year. Bicyclists account for about 700 traffic deaths each year and Florida annually has one of the higher numbers of serious and fatal bicycle crashes across the country.
