A Volusia County motorcycle crash took place last night that prompted the Florida Highway Patrol to the scene to investigate.
At the time of the accident, a 21-year-old man from DeLand was driving his motorcycle on Glenwood Road. Suddenly, he was struck and thrown from the road. He died later on at an area hospital.
