Bradenton, FL (October 14, 2019) - At least one person is dead following a crash on Cortez Road in Bradenton. The crash took place on Monday, October 14th around 4:00 p.m.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene near Independence Drive. Police have not said how the accident took place. The westbound lanes of the roadway were blocked as authorities remained at the scene. A passenger in one of the vehicles suffered critical injuries. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time.
