Izaak Aaron Evans Killed When Vehicle Drove Off Road

18-year-old Izaak Aaron Evans lost his life in an accident when he drove off the road in Levy County, hit a tree, and overturned the vehicle. His 15-year-old passenger was taken to UF Health Shands Hospital for injuries.

The crash happened when Evans, driving his 2005 Dodge Dakota, was approaching an intersection on CR 345. His pickup traveled onto the shoulder of the road where it hit a tree and then overturned.

Evans and his passenger were not wearing seatbelts. They were both ejected from the vehicle.
