A fatal accident takes place on Florida roadways about every three hours. Motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters have a high incidence of serious and fatal injury accidents. These types of vehicles provide little protection in the event of a crash with a car. In many cases, simply wearing a helmet is not enough to prevent serious limb, head, spinal cord, and neck injuries often seen in a motor scooter crash. These injuries can obviously have a permanent life-altering impact.
