Clearwater police were called to the scene of an officer-involved crash that led to serious injuries on Tuesday. The accident took place on Rosery Road and Clearwater-Largo Road around 9:52 p.m. at night.
The officer was injured and taken to Morton Plant Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Two others received injuries and were taken to another hospital.
At this time, police are still investigating how the accident occurred. Drivers were told to avoid the intersection.
