DUI crashes account for thousands of injuries each year across our state. Driving while under the influence of drugs and alcohol is one of the most reckless and irresponsible actions in which a person can engage. DUI drivers lack an awareness of the dangers of the roadway and often fail to react in time to avoid catastrophic crashes with other motorists.
Our condolences are with the members of the Ellis family at this time and we hope for their speedy recovery.
