Tampa, FL (July 14, 2019) – A three-car crash involving an Army National Guard Humvee was reported on I-275 in Tampa on Saturday, July 13th. The collision took place in the northbound lanes of the roadway.
The Florida Highway Patrol investigated the crash. Troopers report that a Ford Expedition and a Toyota Camry were also involved. Initial indications are that the Ford attempted to change lanes when it struck the other two vehicles. Troopers say that the lane change was improper.
The drivers of the Ford and the Camry both sustained non-life-threatening injuries. No one in the Humvee was hurt. One northbound lane of I-275 was closed while the crash scene was cleared.

Approximately 250,000 injury accidents will occur in Florida this year. Major highways such as I-275 are common places for collisions to occur, especially multi-vehicle accidents. When a highway crash occurs, the first question is to determine who was responsible for the crash. Speeding and reckless driving often play a role in accidents on Florida’s highways.
