Fatal crashes take place daily on Florida's streets and highways. Statistics indicate that, on average, a fatal accident is reported around every three hours. When you have lost a loved one to the negligence of another motorist, Florida law provides that a wrongful death claim can be brought on behalf of your deceased family member. Such claims seek to recover compensation for medical and funeral expenses, lost wages, and loss of companionship.
